Monotony

Wake up. Breathe.
Brush teeth.
Take a bath and dress up neat.
Leave the house. Got people to meet.
Rushing and pacing across the street.
Reach destination. Don’t forget to breathe.
Don’t forget to complete all the sheets.
I try to find the beat.
Because I’m incomplete.
So I indulge in other bittersweet retreats.
Wait. Fill my stomach with meat.
Go back to joining the robotic fleet.
Blink. I’m done for the day. Breathe.
Get home. Eat. Relax. Undress. Sleep.
Dreams tell me that I need to cheat.
So I wake up, hit reset and repeat.
